Am I right in saying you want the default to be USA, so that USA is displayed as the first option on the subscription widget?Or another reason?

Just need to understand what we are trying to achieve first.

I live in the United States. I am making a website for a small sports bar in a fairly small city. They want customers to be able to sign up for specials via SMS.

Most likely, they will not have anyone outside the United States who is interested in their specials.

I would like to be able to set the country as USA and skip the first step of the visitor needing to select a country completely.

So, a user will only see the drop down to select their provider and enter their cell phone number.
