[Plugin: Members Only] Feed Keys not working in WP 2.7?

  • I know 2.7 isn’t officially compatible with Members Only, but it seems to work fine – aside from Feed Keys. Every feed URL comes up with an error:

    Feed Key is Invalid
    The Feed Key you used is invalid. It is either incorrect or has been revoked. Please login to obtain a valid Feed Key.

  • It doesn’t play nice with my version of 2.7.

    I get this error:
    Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Bad arguments. in /wp-includes/query.php on line 1805

    Warning: Cannot modify header information…/wp-content/plugins/members-only/members-only.php on line 398

    I have the invalid feed key problem with 2.6.5 so I’m not sure that it is a 2.7 issue.

    As a follow-up I found that if I deleted the feed_keys row(s) from the wp_usermeta table in phpMyAdmin and then went into user profiles and regenerated the key by ticking the box and updating then the feed keys work.

    This applies to both wordpress 2.6.5 and 2.7 (I’ve tested it on both).

    N.b. I have “Require Feed Keys” unchecked and “Feed Access” set to “Use Feeds”

    I have the same problem on my blog. I’m using 2.7
    I deleted the rows as directed by n03lm but found it didn’t work with “Required Feed Keys” CHECKED.

    I’ve unchecked it for now so that it works but if anyone finds a solution for it checked, please let me know.

    I got it working with 2.7, just had to make a small change in the code. I also added comment feedkey. If anyone is interested, let me know and I can send it along to you.

    Is there going to be an official update to this for 2.7?

    but now RESOLVED!!!

    What I did was I simply copy & paste the file query.php from wp ver 2.65 into my query.php ver 2.7

    Have a try.
