[Plugin: Members] Roles not working?

Hi, love the plugin, installed and it seems to work OK with admin. However, when I restrict a page to a certain role (eg subscriber – with read posts, read pages and read checked capabilities) it wont let subscriber see the page I assigned the role to, I just get the message “Sorry, but you do not have permission to view this content.”. I tried a few different things and only the admin can see the page, even though it is ticked in page backend to Subscriber + Admin. Not sure what is happening….would much appreciate any help.
