Plugin memory problems

My hosting account has sent me several warnings about excessive use of my shared hosting account. While trying to understand why a website with relatively low traffic could be creating such problems I’ve discovered that the PMPro plugin is using an odd amount of resources. Early this morning it was at 41%, but this afternoon 71%, or 4.4577 seconds
