The images are sized to fit the slideshow when they are uploaded, did you upload them before setting the current size? I would try re-uploading them. Some of them are pretty large and would probably be cropped, you will get the best results by sizing them to match the slideshow before uploading them.

I uploaded them to the media library and then I set them as the “featured” image when I created a new slide.

Should I go back into Photoshop (where I created the images) and size them to… what size? Where do I find the specs for what size to match the slide show.

Could you tell me what steps I need to take to upload them and have the “sized to fit the slideshow” happen?

    Thanks for your help!

First try just re-uploading the first slide image and resetting it as the featured image, if it was uploaded before you set the slide dimensions it won’t be the right size. That might be enough to fix it.

But the image are pretty large, so they might be cropped, or the WordPress generated versions might not be the best quality. Generally I recommend sizing the images in Photoshop or whatever image editor you use and then uploading them. So if your slideshow is set to 300×150, size the images to exactly 300×150 and then upload them.

    That solved it. Thanks!
