    Hi Paul, there is some extra markup in the slideshow for some reason, two sets of paragraph tags:

    <div id="slide-1" class="slide">
    <p>						<img width="653" height="370" src="https://www.armaenergysnx.com.php5-16.dfw1-2.websitetestlink.com/wp-content/uploads/RPG.jpg" class="attachment-featured-slide wp-post-image" alt="RPG" title="RPG" />					</p></div>
    <p><!-- .slide --></p>

    So when it fades to nothing, it is actually fading to an empty paragraph, and then it fades to the next slide.

    Have you added this slideshow to your page using the shortcode? I think if you check in the HTML editor mode, there is possibly some extra code wrapped around the shortcode. Or maybe your theme has filter that is adding paragraph tags?

    thanks JLeuze, should have figured that myself. I’ll try and remove those extra paragraphs.

    I just discovered, it was this plugin causing the extra markup: https://tutorials.mysitemyway.com/adding-column-layout-shortcodes-to-a-wordpress-theme/
