[Plugin: Meteor Slides] NextGEN or other way to set Featured Image

    I tested this feature and I think it is intended for being used to add images from NextGen to a post or page.

    You might be able to get it to work for the featured image by setting the NextGen thumb size to match the slide image size, but that would cause problems with using those thumbs in the NextGen galleries.

    I would recomend sticking with uploading the slide images in the media library.

    No, the the featured image has to be in the media library for WordPress to generate the different image sizes.
