• Hi, I’ve made a child-theme for the picolight 1.1.2 theme in order to protect my code changes from theme updates.. or so I’ve learned I should do.. ?? Well, the theme update came, I updated it and… surprise: my Meteor Slide from the header disappeared.. The problem is that i don’t have a header.php file to edit anymore, there’s just a style.css file.. So.. how (and where) am I supposed to insert the meteor slides code in order to put it back in my header?
    Please help..
    thank you..

  • Copy the parent’s header.php file in your child theme and make any necessary changes to the child’s version of the file.

how do I do that? I’m using the “online version” of wordpress, I have nothing installed on my PC..

Create the file on your computer and upload it to your child theme’s folder using FTP.
