    Its can be when locale is not set at the config.php file of your blog and you use some other plugins for changing or manipulation with locale of your blog.

    Microstock photo plugin is not set locale, its have functions only for getting locale using standard WordPress function get_locale(),
    During calling this function its check locale is it set or no. If its not set so then its apply standard en_US locale or assign value from this WPLANG and then call filters according changing locale. So some other plugins in your system then can make it.
