Plugin – monitor multiple computers

  • Hi,

    Im currently looking for a smart and lightweight solution to monitor if some computers are turned on and online.

    I want to make some kinda script that pings or sends a ID to a domain running wordpress that lets me see if a computer is turned on. (Maby even able to let me know when its turned on and when it is turned off) and be able by using the ID what computer there is running.

    I know some might say that theres software like prey, but im looking for a free solution, lightweight on the computers and easy to monitor from any device just using a browser.

    I dont know if this is even possible or already exists and thats why i posted this request in here.
