• I am using the latest WordPress (3.01) and the latest More Fields (“Version 2.0.3”) -thanks for doing development in this needed area; I found about 3 of 3 references to More Fields all positive. Using More Fields I have a field configured as a “Number \ HTML5 input type, full functionality available in modern browsers. Alternative input: numerical in the range specified below.” so in the below field “Values (if applicable)” I put in “.00:.99” to specify the numeric range (BTW, where are the docs for this range specification? I’m just guessing this syntax for the range based on this only other post I found regarding Number.) BUT in editing a post when I enter for this field say the value “343%” then click “Update” it saves w/o error when I would expect & like instead an error as “Not in range” else “Not a number”. What is wrong & how/when will it be fixed?

This is just a browser issue actually. We have no error checking for this, since a HTML5 number field will have this functionality when fully implemented in the browser.

DestinyArchitect, you could use the Number Range type and limit the range from .00:.99. This way, if the browser supports the Range input, the user will be limited to your values. Just with there was a way to define the “step” attribute.
