I upgraded my WordPress and wanted to replace MembersOnly plugin with this one to then use the Private Feed Keys plugin.

Installed this plugin, I see no access restrictions being applied at all, regardless which of the 3 options in Privacy settings I apply.
I noticed that the text of the first radio button seems cropped, as it says:
I would like my blog to be visible only to registered users of
only. The name of the site (this is NOT a multi site) is only inserted in the other options:

I would like my blog to be visible only to registered users I add to "Blog – TEST"
I would like "Blog – TEST" to be visible only to Admins.

I tried fresh sessions with deep links from 3 different browsers and none asked for login.

    My plugins:
    Active Directory Integration 1.1.3
    More Privacy Options 3.2.1.1
    WordPress HTTPS 2.0.4
    WP-Mail-SMTP 0.9.1

What could be causing this ?
I know this plugin is tested up to 3.2.1 only, but why no tests and updates for 3.3.x ?

    thanks

Hmmm…now I reverted to 3.2.1 and it is still not redirecting visitors to log in…!

Have you installed a WordPress Network? mu-plugins?

Double check the description and install instructions for best use of this plugin.

You must have a WordPress Network.

You said “this is NOT a multi site”. That is the problem. Deactivate and delete this plugin and find another that works on a single-site install.

Argh…!….had actually been suspicious about that mu-business but not been following up on that.
Meanwhile I fixed my issue but will try this plugin once I get my own family site up and running (in the year 2024….) ??

    thanks
