[Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] How to make it work with excerpts ?

probably:

add_filter('the_excerpt', 'do_shortcode');

keep in mind, that the above would enable all shortcodes in the excerpt. there are better ways, but that’s the simplest.

Thank you Helga, I did try that already – not to avail.

possibly the required scripts aren’t loading. my guess is that since the plugin is old, it may not be loading scripts when triggered by the shortcode. it could be restricting them intentionally to only single posts/pages.

Yes, I think this plugin needs some serious update.

I am sure someone is going come up with a new plugin soon enough…
