• So I updated wordpress to 3.1 and am using j-player 1.4.3

    Everything worked fine before updating, but now safari doesn’t show the current track. it shows the playlist fine and when you click on an item it plays, but you still don’t see the current track that is playing in the window above the player control buttons.

    see here: https://www.thehollywood5.com/

    Firefox, and IE show it fine.

    Any ideas?

  • I too am getting this error

    GET ..wp-content/plugins/mp3-jplayer/css/images/pos-handleH.gif 404 (Not Found)pos-handleH.gif
    GET ..wp-content/plugins/mp3-jplayer/css/images/pos-handle.gif 404 (Not Found)pos-handle.gif

    However my mp3 jplayer works fine in Chrome despite that error. I do wish that it can be fixed :{

    Any comments from the author regarding why that error crops up ?

    you can fix that error by uploading files to the css/images folder that use the same filename as in the error.
    I just made copies of the original files and renamed them ??

    uh… yes i could but then those images will be loaded god knows where.

    Also i’m not a programmer so shouldn’t be expected to add stuff to load when it’s not needed apparently.

    I hope the author can fix this plugin to be more efficient and bug free :{

    Image errors are fixed for next release.

    @fuzzypiglet,
    I don’t think they’re js errors, it’s prob analysis of a single file out of context.

    What OS are you having issues with Chrome on?

    Hello, I’m having this same problem in WordPress 3.2.1. If I use the plugin by itself, it seems to work, but when I use the other plugins I need, the plugin breaks. I tried CldSwm’s fix (de-enqueueing jquery-ui-core) but it didn’t work for me. I can only open the player on a popup, but I don’t want that, I need it in the sidebar.

    Is there any way to modify this plugin in order to make it work without conflicting with (a modified version of) TwentyTen?

    I’m using the latest version of the mp3-jplayer, btw.

    Actually nevermind, after updating WordPress to 3.3 it doesn’t even open on a popup anymore. The Error Console shows the following:

    Error: jQuery(“#vol_mp3j_” + id).slider is not a function
    Source File: https://————.org/wp-content/plugins/mp3-jplayer/js/mp3j-functions.js?ver=1.7.3
    Line: 88

    Error: jQuery(“#jquery_jplayer”).jPlayer is not a function
    Source File: https://————.org/wp-content/plugins/mp3-jplayer/js/mp3-jplayer.js?ver=1.7.3
    Line: 159

    The latter shows up every time I click on the popup button.
