• This should be called MP3 Playlist player, with an emphasis on PLAYLIST

The fact that only playlists and not single files can be played hinders its flexibility A LOT. Moreover, the fact that you need a code workaround to make the widget player become smaller, is also quite weird. Why would you sick it in the widget area if it is not at all widget ready?? So either you get a large player in the sidebar, or a small one in the page content. Could this be improved?

Sure I could crate hidden posts with single file playlists for the first issue, then code here and there to get the style I want where it serves the purpose. But this is too much work, and I doubt 80% of WP users would do it.

It’s a pity, I rally liked some aspects of it, but its usability is not for me. Thanks for developing it anyways.

  • I just tried out this plugin.

Seriously limited? This plugin allows custom css, switches between flash and html5, is browser compatible with both firefox and ie, will allow you choose music from a folder or from posts, etc etc, and even change the appearance of the widget player with css.

I think this is a lot of value for a free plugin.

Well it works well for me and I found it easy to install and get going. It also offers a lot of options for customisation if you want to dig deeper?
