[Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] The player appears but it doesn′t play

  • Hi, Simon

    I followed all the steps to play mp3s with your plugin. The player appears in widget and it shows the whole info but it doesn′t play the song (autoplay and repeat options on). It keeps blinking and says connecting but nothing else happens. I don′t know what to do. Any help, please?

    In the main page the player appears but there isn′t info and it doesn′t play.

  • Did you set the URL for Non-Library mp3’s in the Settings?

    That should be set to the directory where you’re storing your files, starting with a slash / – see if that works…

    I tried the url like you said. The songs show up on the player, but not playing.

    Check the file names too, I found that when you have any spaces or strange characters (or names that are too long sometimes) that most players don’t recognize the files. If you have any filenames with spaces, replace the spaces with either dashes or underscores, and remove any characters that are not alphanumerical…

    If that’s not the issue, then might be something else with the file itself? Maybe the way it’s saved?
