[Plugin: Multiple Category Selection Widget] Displaying second dropdown of chained selectors at page

  • I’ve implemented chained selectors well enough but am wondering about possible approach to take to modify the code such that the second dropdown will appear on page load. As built, the second dropdown in the chain doesn’t display until a choice is made in the first dropdown. That makes sense but folks want the second dropdown to display at all times (perhaps with a single dummy entry if displayed before first selector is used).

    You can see the current implementation in development at https://wp.seedco.org – the selectors are on lower right part of home page.

    We haven’t yet set this up such that both selectors show up when the page loads. Will post info about it, though, when it’s figured out. Thanks.

    I′d be interested in this too since the plugin hasn’t been updated in so long this would increase its usefulness a great deal
