[Plugin: Multiple Galleries] weird and unexpected behavior

might not be your plugin after all but maybe you can help me out here?

=> Your plugin is deactivated.
=> https://pacura.ru/pictures/2010/safari-through-namibia-botswana-and-zimbabwe/ works. the code used is [gallery include="968,969,970,971,972,973,974,975" link="file" columns="4"] several times to split the gallery into multiple galleries.
=> https://pacura.ru/pictures/2010/the-national-arts-festival-in-grahamstown/ works and the code used is: [gallery link="file" columns="5"]

=> https://pacura.ru/pictures/random-pictures-from-south-africa/ doesn’t work and the code used is: [gallery link="file" order="DESC" columns="5"]

All other galleries seem to work. I have no idea what is happening with this one page ??

ok, it seems I blamed a totally innocent plugin ??

after deactivating that one all is good and my galleries display again!

but where do you find the numbers to include or exclude depending on what you want to do?

I just added a bunch to the media section but I don’t see any numbers?

why would you need any numbers?
did you read my post?

This plugin adds checkboxes next to images you have uploaded to a gallery in a post. Selecting checkboxes will include those images in that particular gallery.

When I go to Add an Image, the tab called Gallery is NOT there.’

well, seems you are unfamiliar with how wordpress galleries work…

the gallery tab only shows up if you have added (linked) images to that specific page/post.

try this: write a new post, save as draft, upload images while in the write post tab, go to gallery, it will be there, insert images, publish.

images uploaded via the media page are not linked to any page or post.
so obviously they are not showing in any page or post’s gallery.

when you are at the point where you can’t see the gallery tab, there you have the chance to upload images. do it and the gallery tab shows up.

Otherwise I need to replace the slider images on the index page. I started at Post/Add New/ from Categories checked Front Page Flash. Then the window appeared with the Gallery tab. But the new ones are not replacing the ones already there. I guess what I should be doing is going to the existing Post of the one where I want to add the new images for the slider and selecting Front Page Flash then Publish?

I helped you with this plugin and with general wordpress understandings.
These issues seem to be related to your theme or another plugin.
nothing I can do here ??
