• I installed this plugin, thinking it was the answer, but, on the site where I installed it, there were hundreds of subscribers, and as it autoposted, it made a copy of the post it was importing, for each and every subscriber as if they were the author, it took me two days to delet all of the posts.

Just so that you know, I had checked the boxes for the plugin to not make any duplicates. I am just happy I told it to make the posts pending and not for it to publish, otherwise it would have been even worse!

  • Thank you very much for your feedback, we know where this issue comes from. We will be releasing a fix shortly.

We’ve posted an update, please check it out.

Does this plugin spin content at all before posting or does it pull content someone else has written and post it without giving author credit for the articles? In other words, for example, does it pull content from a place like ezine articles and post that content exactly as written? This is what I’ve seen a lot of auto content bloggers doing, and it is against ezine articles rules and is also plagiarism. Thanks for your help.

This posts content from various sources, including article directories and also keep author bio and links to original content. That is not plagiarism and is not against any rules. Spinning the articles would been plagiarism though. Just replacing some words it does not mean you can claim ownership of that content.

Ezinearticles has a rule about not posting more the 25 articles a year. Is up to you if want to do that or not. There are other 2 article directories build in that has no such limitation.

Hello, when is it gona be updated to be compactible with the WP 3.0? I installed this plugin but i got this ERROR in the header: Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/XXXX/public_html/XXXXXX.TLD/wp-content/plugins/multipress-content/core/license.php on line 409

I beleive its not updated yet hence that error?

One more thing, how can someone elect to post articles say 2 articles per day? I just want to get to know how we can limit the amount of articles that get posted in a day.

The error is not because wp 3.0, plugin will work fine there.

The issue is with your server setup. For some reason curl can’t set options. You probably have php running in safemode. You should talk to your host support, is a sever related issue.

thnx mate, i will speak to my host then. how about if i want to run the script twice a day but only that it etract on 1 article per each run? I mean define it to function in such a way that on 1 article(latest article) is extracted in each run?
