This can depend on your settings for the widget; so I have some follow up questions for you: 1) which type of upcoming events sequencing are you using: by date, or by event? 2) What are your respective settings for “before” and “after”?

By default, the plugin shows events both before and after the current date; but this is configurable in the widget options.

    I have the same problem.
The Widget shows past events even if I have choosen it not to show.

I’ve tried different selections. But it doesn’t matter if I choose 0 or 1 events/dates from the past. It shows all from the past.

I tried to remove that command that brings up past events in the the widget.php and it shut down my entire homepage. Had to upload a new widget.php to get it to work again. A little bit scary.

I apologize for the long wait…I figured I would get an email notification for new posts.

I realized that I overlooked something very simple. I had past events under the widget settings set to two, which is why they didn’t remove themselves from the list. My apologies!
