[Plugin: My Custom Widgets] RSS feed conflict

  • Hi, I’ve been seeing a strange problem with My Custom Widgets 1.8.1 and the rss feed for my client’s website, whyyoucare.com .

    When My Custom Widgets is on, the RSS feed is broken in a strange way; the content of the feed is messed up so that the headlines of each feed item are right, but the body content of each feed item becomes duplicated (you can see my fuller description here: WordPress support forum topic.)

    I’d love to see this fixed because I do like the My Custom Widgets plugin in theory, but my client needs the feed to work more than he needs the widgets to work.

  • Hi,

    usually there should not be any problem because MyCustomWidget does not change any content. That is why I believe it has something to do with the content of a CustomWidget of yours.
    Can you send me some more information how to reproduce this error (which theme?, which settings, the code of the widget you created).
