[Plugin: MyReviewsPage] Google reviews are not showing in the post

  • Google reviews are not shown (sometimes ranking appear), but a quantity of reviews is never shown right. I tried both automatic and “with URL” settings

    We rely on the APIs for the reviews service to get back the # of reviews. Sometimes a business has multiple profiles, with different #s of reviews.

    In Google’s case, the Places Page does not have an API to retrieve reviews, so we have to scrape the page. When they change the page layout or formatting (which happens frequently!) then it sometimes breaks our parser.

    We’re working on an update to the service now due to some recent changes Google made.
