Plugin needed for swf on page?

  • Do I need a plugin to display a swf movie on a page?

    Tried with the “add video” button on the visual editor but it only adds the file name to the page.

    I’m sure I’m doing something wrong since I am completely clueless with WP. I tried searching the forum for an answer but got a lot of confusing information.
