• Love this plugin, it’s helping me create a really nice community network. One problem I’m having though, is that if I make one of my users a Super Admin on their sub-network, they can then go into users and see / edit / delete users for the entire global network. This is obviously not a good situation!! Is there any way I can stop sub-network Super Admins from doing this? I need sub-network Super Admins only to allow them to create new sites on their sub-netowkr.

I’ve just realised that I can let logged-in users create sites through the frontend way (www.sub-network.co.uk/wp-signup.php) and it works fine ?? So ignore this, but maybe it’ll help others!

It looks like you’re asking two questions:

    1. Is there any way to stop sub-network Super Admins from editing / deleting users on other networks?
    – Unfortunately, there is only one user database for all networks, and super admins have access to all users.

    2. Can super admins be restricted to creating new sites only on their networks?
    – Sort of. They can be restricted from logging into sites on other networks, and making changes there. However, they can create new networks, and they could also use the site moving functions to bring sites into their network, edit them, and then move them back.

Creating an option to “lock down” a certain network, or super admins who are not super admins of network 1, is not a bad idea for a new feature.
