[Plugin: News & Events] Add field for article URL and link the title?

Hi there,
This plugin looks great! There are two things I’d like to see it do, whether you can give me some pointers on modifying the code or release a version of the plugin that incorporates these.

I’d like to have a field within the Add News page for the URL of the article, and then have the title of the article link to that URL instead of automatically linking to a new page on my site.

I’ll soon hand this site off to my client, so the URL field on the dashboard is pretty crucial. If I can get one that automatically links headlines to designated pages, I’d be thrilled!
