[Plugin: Newsletter Sign-Up] Single Sign On Using Aweber but not working

I can use the Newsletter sign up at my site but it requires a confirmation (as in a double opt in). I have configured it at Aweber site to be a single opt in. I tested it with the sign up form – the single opt in works but when leaving comments using Newsletter sign up, it required an email confirmation.
