[Plugin: Nextgen 1.5.2] Display first 5 images from gallery?

I have a bunch of nextgen galleries being displayed within posts. The galleries have about 15 photos in each. On the homepage I would like to only display the first 5 photos from each gallery.

I am currently using the_content to display post content on the home page, so the entire galleries are being displayed.

Does anyone know a way I could set my homepage up to limit each nextgen gallery post to display only the first 5 photos in each post?
