    Hi There,
i also upgraded the plugin and after upgrading the database like I was told by the plugin, I received a Internal Error 500.

    I’m using the following plugins:
    Akismet,
    Google XML Sitemaps,
    Maintainance Mode,
    NextGen Gallery,
    Simple Tags,
    Twitme,
    Viper’s Video Quicktags,
    WordPress Database Backup,
    Wordpress PDA & iPhone,
    Yet Another Related Posts Plugin

If I have only ngg activated and ONE of the other plugins, it’s working, but some combinations of the plugins are not woking. I hope, that I can find out more tonight.

Downgrading to 1.4.1 also failed, as It seems to me, that the problem was the upgrade of the database through the plugin.

    Any help is appreciated

    best regards xdream

    Hi there,

it seems, that I could have solved the problem. My blog hosted at 1&1 is running php4.
I only had “AddType x-mapp-php5 .php” in my .htaccess file to enable php5, but it seems, that this was not enough.
I added the line “AddHandler x-mapp-php5 .php”, and so far it seems to work.

I’ll keep you posted, if anythings changes.

    Best regards

Awesome, thanks for the fix. I had been getting sporadic 500 errors on my blog hosted on 1&1. I narrowed the problem down to the Yet Another Related Post Plugin (which is great BTW) .But for some reason whenever I enabled that plugin I got errors saving in the amdin section. I just added those two lines in my .htacces file and magic – problem solved.
