• I’m switching from an old version of MT to WP partially in the interest of streamlining the post creation process. I like the CMS qualities of NextGen gallery, but I’m trying to figure out how to make it easier to integrate for my writers.

I don’t want to end up with a “regular” WP gallery plus a NextGen gallery because that’s confusing – but I don’t see any way during the post creation process to upload an image and insert it into NextGen on the fly like you can with the standard gallery. If it’s necessary to go explicitly to the gallery area in WP admin, upload a file, add it to the gallery and then create a post, insert media and have to find that just uploaded image, that’s kind of a pain in the butt.

Is there some way to integrate “Upload Images” for NextGen into the “Add an Image” popup in the post creation page?

    Thanks,

    Vic
