[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Adding a callback function

Is there a way to add a callback function to Nextgen Gallery once the image loads? For example, if I have a page with thumbnails and clicking any of these loads up the full image in a modal, is there a way to add a callback function which fires after the modal loads?
