[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Album not “remembering” Gallery selection

  • Hi Folks,

    I was referred here by the folks from Photocrati (in hopes to contact Alex Rabe).

    I’m having an issue with Albums. Specifically, if I drag and drop galleries into an ablum – the drag and drop works fine. As soon as I hit the “Update” button, all of my gallery choices are unselected. If I try to display the Album on a page – it’s blank.

    I’ve tried using different browsers – same result.

    I’m using 2.8.5 on a Windows 2003 server using IIS. I’m also using WP-Hive.

    Anyone else experience this? If so, is there a known fix?

    Morover I have the same trouble editing the title in each picture.

    Changes aren’t saved.
    What we have to do?

    I use wp version 3

    Hi kreatyve,

    I was able to solve my problem by upgrading the NextGEN plugin. I was under the impression that the Photocrati theme that I was using had installed the version of NextGEN that it needed. That was not the case. I created a matrix of the different plugins used by the various sites I had running under WP-Hive (a plugin to have multi-site capability pre WP 3.0). I found that NextGEN was used in a old site (before my time) and before the installation of Photocrati. I figured that I was still using the same old plugin, so I updated NextGEN to the latest version supported by 2.8.5 and voila it fixed my issue. Are you using the latest version of NextGEN with WordPress 3.0?
