[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Album pics in sidebar

Is it possible to include images in the sidebar which are linked to individual Albums? When a user clicks on the image in the side bar, a lightbox should open up allowing the user to scroll through the various images in that album.

Has this been done before?
