[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Albums and galleries don't work properly in posts

Here are my problems with 1.7.4 and WP 3.1:

(1) When clicking to an album, which is attached to a post, it doesn’t open the related gallery. However the correct permalink to the gallery is shown in the browser’s status bar. When putting the same album to a static page a click to it opens the gallery without problem.
(BTW: “Deactivate gallery page link” is selected.)

(2) When placing a gallery to a post and having limited the number of photos per page, the following page(s) will not open. The same gallery on a static page works perfectly.

I deactivated already all other plugins and changed the theme to Twenty-Ten but it doesn’t help.

Any suggestions would be highly welcomed!
