[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] automatically delete galleries when an album is deleted

Is it possible to automatically delete all galleries in an album when that album is deleted?
I organise my galleries in serveral albums per year. I only keep the galleries from the last 2 years.
At the start of a new (school)year, I delete the old albums, but the galleries are not automatically deleted.
Problem is that I don’t know which galleries are still in albums and which galleries are no longer in albums.

What I want to do is simply delete an album and all galleries in it.
How could I do that?
