[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Can't add new gallery

    I just moved a gallery from one site to a new site. The new site is running the most recent version of WP and Nextgen. I exported the 3 nextgen tables from the database of the old site and imported them into the new site. All of the galleries and photos appear on the new site perfectly. Only problem is… I can’t add new galleries. When I add one via the nextgen admin, it creates the folder on the server, but it does not appear in the drop down list to insert into posts.
    I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling a couple times, no luck. Help!

    SOLVED!! Thanks @iamteejay. I never thought to look at the NextGen version. I was sure that my WP versions were the same but NextGen on the old site was an older version. I updated that, exported the tables again and now it works perfectly! Thanks for everyone’s input.

    Yes reasonable… I’ve added in a latest version ( thinks since V1.7) a new field in the database which is needed if you add a gallery. Thanks for your feedback

    Could you be a little more specific with the fix for this? I had to restore my NGG tables from a backup after a botched upgrade where I accidentally deleted the tables. I lost about half of my galleries, but was happy to replace what I could from a backup.
    I too lost the ability to create a new gallery and to upload pictures into the old galleries after replacing those tables.
    As with the rest of you, the new galleries folders were created on the server, but they were not created within NextGen so I couldn’t add anything.
    What specifically in the database needs to be changed so I can add galleries again?

    Just to echo your thoughts, I also would very much appreciate some additional info regarding the required changes to the NGG tables. I am hoping that this may solve my current issue as outlined here:

    Just FYI, I am not using the Simple Facebook Connect plugin as discussed here: (would have been great to solve my issue this way…)
