[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Can’t get nextgen slideshow to appear on sidebar

A novice here –can get the nextgen widget to appear on right sidebar but can’t seem to get the slideshow to appear on sidebar. i’d rather just have the slideshow vs. the thumbnail on the ng widget. Help!please
