• Nextgen gallery used to work fine in my site until recently when i tried to upload an image after a long time…an error message is shown which says “Exceed memory limit. require :27.6 M”.and hence no thumbail is generated.
    this is my server details :

    * Operating System : Linux
    * Server : Apache
    * Memory usage : 21.99 MByte
    * MYSQL Version : 5.0.84-1
    * SQL Mode : Not set
    * PHP Version : 5.2.10
    * PHP Safe Mode : Off
    * PHP Allow URL fopen : On
    * PHP Memory Limit : 24M
    * PHP Max Upload Size : 1500K
    * PHP Max Post Size : 2M
    * PHP Max Script Execute Time : 10s
    * PHP Exif support : Yes ( V1.4 )
    * PHP IPTC support : Yes
    * PHP XML support : Yes

    I used to upload images of even 400 KB size with no problems….i wonder whats causing this error now ….PLEASE HELP !!1THANKS !!!

    im using about 30 plugins in total…..is that the reason???

    figured it out!!!..too many plugins were active and it took a lot of memory….that was the reason for the error.
    Deactivated some unwanted plugins…and now evrythngs working fine!!!.
