[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] chaotic thumbnail display

Hello. I’ve got a big problem with the display of the thumbnails:

I build a website for a photographer, who has got his photos in different sizes and ratio. He doesn’t want to ignore the relation between height and width. Also he doesn’t want to show only a part of his photos. So I defined the heighth of the thumbnails with 140px.

The result is a truly chaotic display of the thumbnails in a gallery. I understand, why the system display the galleries like this, but it is very untidy and I am very unhappy with this. Is there a possibility to change this? (I already tried to sort the thumbs in a different way, what is much work and the result isn’t what I want…)

If there isn’t any solution I have to look for another gallery, but because of the good funtionality I hesitate to do so….
