[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] "Edit Thumbnail" Option is Broken…

Hey guys,
I’ve been searching all morning for a solution to this and I’m tired of running around in circles…

NextGen is working great EXCEPT for the “edit thumbnail” option in the “Manage Gallery” section. The window will open up fine, but the crop-area on the left is displaying a broken link image. The plugin will create thumbnails fine, but it’s croping them in awkward places that would easily be fixed if I could just edit the thumbnails.

I discovered that if I switch themes to the TwentyEleven theme it works fine, but it won’t work with my custom SandBox theme that I’ve created for my client.

I’ve read in some forums by the creator, Alex Rabe, that it’s probably an “improper handling of the header”…ok, but what does that mean??? And how can I fix it??? I can’t seem to find anything that will explain this particular situation for me.

Is there a plugin hack that I can use to fix this issue? Or is there something I can change or alter in order to get this function working in my current theme?
