[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Error Code 7 when trying to upload photos to gallery

  • Uploading images and creating galleries has been working fine until I tried to do so tonight.

    I can create a gallery, but when I try to upload photos to that gallery, I get an error that says Error Code 7.

    As I said, this is only just now happening. Do you have any idea why this might be and how to fix it? I’m using a Windows computer.

    I had this problem occur just now, although the Error Code is #2038 for me. I am also using the newest version of WordPress on a Windows computer.

    Me too. I updated wordpress and nextgen to latest version and now 2038 errors most times I upload. grrr.

    A client of mine is having the same issue. No ideas yet?

    Im not sure what the cause it but fortunately next gen provides alternative ways to upload and get the images into a gallery. I use those when necessary.

    I’m also having this problem – error code 7. I also get the error code when I try disabling the flash uploader, and it also doesn’t work if I try to upload the images directly to the folder on the server. So can’t use it at the moment. ??

    After posting yesterday I discovered I was having a similar problem with the regular WP gallery. I tried a long shot, which was to switch my router off and on again…. and it solved the problem ??
