[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] FlashViewer and NextGEN gallery problem

  • Since upgrading to 1.8.2 (latest version) of NextGEN gallery, my Flashviewer plugin (SWFs) are no longer working.

    For example, with SimpleViewer (viewer.swf) I get the error:

    Gallery not found

    The code in the post is:

    [simpleviewer=31,570,570]

    Similarily, for TiltViewer, I get a blank screen and no images.

    Please can you tell me what has changed? It looks like the galleries are not being found by the Fashviewer plugin or is it a NextGEN issue?

    A fix for this will be very much appreciated.

  • Upon upgrade, my lightbox popover no longer finds the larger images.
    The images, both thumb and larger work in the admin side, however.

    I found that using this short code solved my problems:
    [simpleviewer id=”x” width=”450″ height=”500″]

    I once deleted the viewer.swf file and uploaded an older version and that worked. Other than that???

    My gallery / albums thumbs show up but. The popover fires…
    but the image never shows.

    Beyoyo 2 – did you resize your images for the web?

    Indyparker – I made an omission in my last post. I forgot to mention that I purchased SimpleViewer Pro and generated my own swf file.

    Of course. This was working before the upgrade. Now all I get is a loading bar. Firebug isn’t revealing any problems either. Seems all the JS loads. Click thumb… no large image.. only loader showing.
    You can even copy a link from the thumb and paste it into a new window and see the large image. So I know they are there.

    Ok.. I had to go to the Reset / uninstall and do a Reset.
    Everything is working now.
