[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Full size photo does not load in Chrome

I am having an issue with getting nextgen gallery to work properly in Chrome. In Firefox it works well, and I have done google searches where it states I should put something in the header etc but nothing helps (and I do flush the cache after each change).

Here is what happens:

I click the gallery I want, and the thumbnails appear. When i go to click on the thumbnail to view the full size photo, the screen goes dark translucent and I get the word “Loading” in large red letters. Except it isn’t loading, it just is stuck there until I press the back button.

I have seen it working ok on other websites…can anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you for your help.
