[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Gallery does not browse properly in IE8.

I just installed the plugin on a customer’s new WordPress site (https://bellissima.xraysierra.com/portfolio/). The problem is that in IE8, when they click on the first few pictures, and then next, nothing happens. They can’t close the picture either.
