[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Gallery Loads – Only Title and Blank Box Shows

  • I was able to create/upload two galleries just fine. Now it has stopped working properly. Have not changed anything (no WP upgrade or additional plugins).

    I just get the gallery title and an empty box below it – even though the upload was successful and there are images/thumbnails in the Gallery folder. Not sure why it’s not making the connection.

    Bump – desperate!

    Images are on the server, path is correct, but they are showing up as broken links. The exact same site on my own host works fine but not so on the client’s host (even though their settings are more forgiving and current). Here’s what I’ve done so far….

    ? Looked at server stats on both the test host and client’s host and my own test host is actually weaker than the client’s.
    ? I’ve tried uninstalling/deleting everything NextGen, reinstall, recreate, reupload images – twice now.
    ? Tried changing the default storage folder from wp-content/gallery to wp-content/gallery2.
    ? Tried removing the .htaccess file in case rewrites were doing something.
    ? Tried changing permalinks back to default.
    ? Turned off all other plugins.
    ? Changed to default theme.
    ? Cleaned up all extraneous files.
    ? Compared view source for test photo gallery page and client photo gallery page – absolutely the same.
    ? Compared versions of NextGen, associated JS files, etc. All same.
    ? AND, reviewed support forum posts going back 4 months (50 pages of them!)
