[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Gallery Preview In Post Link to Full Gallery

  • I am attempting to use NextGEN for displaying galleries inline in posts.

    I am wondering if there is a way to have it display the first few images in a gallery on the main page and only display the full gallery when the person clicks through to single.php or have a way to have a “More…” link put in which will click through to the full gallery.

  • Hi, I’m trying sort of the same thing over here, but I need the first few images to be displayed at the single.php page and I’d like those images to be linked to the gallery subpage.

    Does anybody know how you can do this?

    You need to create or modify the appropriate template(s). I kinda wanted to do the same thing but instead I ended up wrapping the thumbnails in the front page inside a div with a scrollbar (jScrollPane) if there are more than 15 thumbnails but show all thumbnails in a gallery when you click to the post/article. It gives the front page a cleaner look I think.
