Will there be? It seems nothing wants to handle pdf-files in a good way, and since NextGEN Gallery is utterly wonderful in handling images it would be a nice addition, even though pdf aren’t strictly images.

Not sure what you are trying to do specifically. Really don’t need plugins to use pdfs.

I want to manage a “library” that contains only pdf-files. Right now I’m using Filebase to manage the files, creating automatic files listings and stuff like that, but since Filebase seems to be heading for oblivion (still no WP3 upgrade), I’m looking for an alterantive.

Are you using WP-Filebase? Seems to work fine with 3.0.1

Yes, it is WP-Filebase. According to the developer (here on www.ads-software.com) it works only up to WP v2.9.2, and nine out of thirteen say it’s broken. And on the developers own webbsite, there’s a lot of comments about the plugin not working properly.

Since I actually haven’t tried it with WP3, but as the odds are stacked right now I don’t dare.

Why don’t you test Lester “Gamerz” Chan’s “GaMerZ File Explorer”?

Seems as it hasn’t been updated for a while but it might be the solution for you?

WP Explorer also looks pretty neat:

    I’ll look into that. Thanks.
