[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Header Slideshow shifts on page load

Nextgen Gallery works great for the rotating images in the header of this site–I used php if/else clause to insert a different gallery in each page.

On every page, when the page and gallery are loading, the loading circle is huge and runs off of the main section of the page. When the gallery loads, it loads halfway off of the header and then slides into position.

This does not happen for photo transitions, just on page load.

Any ideas what might be causing this?
