• I have 12 gallery’s with about 10 to 15 images within each.
    ( January, February, March, etc… )

What I’m trying to achieve is a page called gallery’s that displays one image from each gallery with the gallery title/caption beneath.
(so a page called 2012 that displays Jan with one image, Feb with one image etc… )

When you click on one of the gallery images you would then be taken to that specific gallery.
( so click Jan and it takes you to the gallery for Jan displaying all the pictures in the January gallery )

Am I being extremely dull. How would you go about this?

    Thanks

  • Have you tried using albums? With albums one thumbnail is displayed, and then when that thumbnail is clicked on, a new page opens with the images from that gallery. There is more about the difference between albums and galleries and how to install them here. I hope this helps you!

As in the post above you’ll need to create an album then drag and drop your galleries into it.

It sometimes easier to just view Albums and Galleries as WordPress pages because thats what they essentially are. The only thing that makes them Albums and Galleries is placing either an album or gallery nextgen shortcode on the page.
