• I do not know how users who register on my page can upload pictures the the gallery ?
It would be nice to have a form/button/anything in the gally page which would anable such picture upload by users.

I was thinking of creating an email form on that page so that I user could send me an e-mail with attached picture ?

    Any advice.

  • on my site https://www.photosbykev.com I use the cforms II plugin that allows users to comment on the site and email you images. The images are automatically placed into a gallery folder which I can then just scan to ‘import’ the new image.

Nice. how did you set up the upload field in cformsII. Did you use ‘form label’ name for the Field Name. Do I just type this in in the Field Name and i automaticaly enables this upload option ?

You should have some idea how people use this form then. Have you set up any security measures ? I was required to do something extra so that user do not abuse the system.

PS: What do you do when a fiel has been uploaded. How do you aprove the files ? I can se the image on the server (FTP) with an extension at the front ‘noid-‘. Do you just change this manualy ?
