[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] I want to change the order of the photos in the slideshow.

So, to be clear:

Ordering the images in the slideshow is NOT allowed if only using the HTML5 player?

Can/will this be fixed?

I’m at a loss angeladude and no one seems to know the answer. I have everything updated and still am not able to place the photos in the order I want. I have done everything suggested here…I even added another rotator to the wp/content file and still no success. I don’t know what else to ask about, am not that savy.

I have seen this sort bug and will work on it….

Thank you Alex, but in my outrageous ignorance, where might I place this code for it to work? Am new to this process and until I can get some classes under my belt am stumbling around so to speak. I appreciate your time and efforts and as my Mother used to say, “Thank you” is all I can offer until you are better paid.

It sounds to me that you have not uploaded the jwplayer. There is a fallback slideshow in case flash isn’t available and that is probably what you are seeing.

I believe you’ll want to take those 2 files and drop them in

wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib

ok, so what if i don’t want the flash slideshow, and i’m using the java one. How can i make it to display images in random order from all galleries ? Everytime i reload a page, (slideshow is in the sidebar, widget) it shows me the first image, and continues in ID order…i don’t want to see the same pictures all over again ?? RANDOOM ??

i haven’t seen the option to set it on random for java slideshow, just that shuffle mode thing for flash, which btw doesn’t work properly with my theme and other plugins apparantly ??
